The Open Climate Campaign has developed informational material in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese for different groups to explain how our project can work with you to help make climate change research open. We offer specific action kits for our target groups – Researchers, National Governments, Funders and Environmental Organizations, but are widely applicable.

Researcher
What can you as a researcher do?
- Deposit a preprint of your publication in a preprint repository.
- Publish your papers open access.
- Deposit a postprint in an OA repository.
- Use Share Your Paper right on this website to upload an open version of your manuscript.
- Deposit your data openly with the CC0 public domain dedication to a data repository.
- Upload your scientific code / scripts/ models openly in a code repository.
- Attend an Open Climate Campaign Event.
- Join the Open Climate Campaign newsletter.
- Tell other researchers about the campaign

Government
What can you as a national government do?
- Develop and implement a national open access policy in collaboration with other governments to create critical mass.
- Openly license and share your climate change and biodiversity content, including your educational resources, with the public.
- Attend an Open Climate Campaign Event.
- Tell other national governments about the campaign.
How can the Open Climate Campaign help?
- Have a call with the Open Climate Campaign to talk about how you can be a part of the Campaign.
- The Open Climate Campaign can help you create, adopt and implement a new or update an existing open access policy.
- We offer training on how to add text to your open assets so that others can freely use them, adjust your website, and update your terms of service and advertise your open assets.

Funder

- Endorse the Campaign.
